On Vacation...

Ahhh, being a teacher rocks! I'm on vacation this week. Went out this weekend- it was a good time. Note to self: Tequila, Red wine, and vodka do not mix well. Next time, stick to beer. It's much safer and is less likely to make a repeat performance later on in the night. Am I too old for this?

Random Thoughts

Two things:

1 - I totally love Disney channel's High School Musical. Can't get enough. The songs are super cheese and the actors are awful- but I love it! I knew it was bad when my fifth graders were talking about the movie the next day and I knew exactly what it was about.

2- I wish that JK Rowling wouldn't wait so long in between books. I am such Harry Potter nerd. I need a fix and soon!

Random thoughts

So, I am still getting used to the idea of just writing down ideas and posting them. I like it. I teach fifth grade and get lots of good material everyday. Like say, when the whole class is having a discussion on the everglades. The destruction, the beauty, yada, yada and one kid just shouts out something so random...like "caribo"- it just cracks me up. Don't you just love it when something makes you laugh randomly 20 minutes after the event happened? We read another story today in class where the author's last name was "craighead", why did we find it funny? Not quite sure, but we spent the day laughing about it. I love what I do. Sometimes I wish that I could rewind time and live life all over again. Not that I would do much different, I just had so much fun the first time through.

Too much fun!

Missing my husband, who is in Texas right now giving a presentation on how kick ass NY is. I hope YOU kick ass, Bri! Come home soon. Miss you!!

As you can tell, we are animal lovers. Although we do love them...we are sometimes not the best parents. Murphy is a bad little puppy who was just seen by the dog whisperer of ballston spa. Ocho tries to escape everytime we open the door. I'm starting to think it's us....
